8歳のときにロックンロールダンスを始め、1年後には人生で初のコンペティションを経験して以来、ニコラスにとって、踊ることは人生の大部分を占めている。
ニコラスは、 競技会参加のためにツアーをしはじめると、すぐにエンターテインメントにおいての経験を吸収し、彼のパフォーマンスはエネルギーに満ち溢れるものとなった。
彼はその後、スイングダンスとブギウギブに熱中しはじめ、フランスでリンディとブギウギのタイトルを数多く獲得したのち、国際的な大会にも出場するようになった。
いまでは、コンペ出場、パフォーマンス、リンディホップとブギウギを教えるために世界中を旅している。
彼は、生徒に集中し、たくさんのエネルギーを与え、難しいステップでも笑顔で、楽しく教えることに長けている。
For Nicolas, dancing has been a big part of life since childhood. Starting with Rock’n Roll at the age of eight he did his first competition after only one year of dancing. Touring France for competitions Nicolas quickly got experienced within the entertainment aspect of dancing, during his performances you can feel his energy from the very back row.
Nicolas later fell in love with swing dancing and in particular with Boogie Woogie. After several victories at the French Championships in Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie he started to compete internationally. Today Nicolas travels all over the world to compete, perform and teach Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie.
When teaching, Nicolas radiates great energy and focuses completely on his students. With a smile on his face he shows you that even the trickiest things can be possible to learn!
パメラは16歳の時にリトアニアの首都、ビリニュスのltクラブでリンディホップのクラスをとりはじめ、そのエネルギーに魅了された。当時、若かったのにもかかわらず、すでにパメラはダンスに関連するあらゆること、音楽、心理学、解剖学などをを学ぶことに情熱を傾けた。2009年に、パメラは彼女の故郷ビリニュスで、Hoppers Dance Studioで働きはじめ、今では世界のリンディホップシーンにおけるトップリーダーたちとパートナーを組み、世界中でスウィングダンスを教えている。
決まったパートナーを持たないことは、彼女のダンスを一層いろどり豊かなものにし、この数年、彼女がもっともエキサイティングなフォロワーと呼ばれることはすこしも不思議ではない。ダンサーとして、パメラは個性と表現の自由を大切にしている。彼女にとって、リンディホップは一部の隙もないテクニカルなものではなく、ミュージカリティと自覚なのである。インストラクターとして、彼女は彼女の価値感、テクニックを共有し、生徒自身の踊り方を見つけるように働きかける。
Humorous and dynamic, keen, full of heart and a touch of the anarchic, Pamela was spellbound by Lindy Hop energy and community at the age of sixteen when she started her first classes at Lindyhop.lt Club in Vilnius. Despite her young age Pamela has already brought herself to light constantly learning anything related to dancing, be it music, psychology or anatomy.In 2009, Pamela began working at Hoppers’ Dance Studio in her hometown of Vilnius, Lithuania. Today she dances and teaches with the top leaders in the international Lindy Hop scene.Having no constant partner has given Pamela space to bring a lot of variety to her dance – no wonder dancers call her one of the most exciting followers in recent years.As a dancer Pamela cherishes individuality and freedom. For her Lindy Hop is not as much about impeccable technique as it is about musicality and awareness. As a teacher she shares her values and encourages people to find their own way of dancing.
