2001年の終わりに音楽仲間を通じてスイングダンスに出会い、その魅力にとりつかれる。
1930-50年代のオリジナルスタイルにフォーカスし、ダンスとしてだけではなく
音楽、ファッションもあわせてスイングに関わることをモットーとしている。
スイングダンスを日本に根付かせるべく、精力的にワークショップ、パフォーマンスを行うかたわら、ソーシャルで踊ることをこよなく愛し、
日本はもとより、アジア、アメリカ、ヨーロッパなどのコンぺティション、スイングイベントに数多く参加しその輪を大きく広げている。
近年は、同年代の音楽を愛するミュージシャンともコラボし、ライブ＋スイングダンスのイベントなどを共催している。
At the end of 2001, it changed her life. Mariko’s music lovers introduced her swing dance,
and immediately she threw herself into the world.She loves the authentic style of swing in 1930s-50s.
She has the motto that she follows not only the dance style of the era but music and even the way of her dressing.
Mariko dedicates herself that people enjoy swing in Japan.
She has been performing vigorously at a number of events to introduce it.
She loves social dancing and you see her at competitions and events even in Asia and cities in the US and Europe too.
Her friendship network is growing and soon is going to reach the every corner of the earth.
Nowadays, She has been connected with musicians who love the music same era as lindyhop and runs swing event together.

MARIKOを通じてスイングダンスを始め、2014年パートナーシップを組む。
あふれる笑顔と楽しいミュージカリティでフォロワーたちを魅了し、
持ち前のリズムとダンスセンスで海外のコンペティションで受賞するなど、日本やアジアのスイングシーンで頭角を現している。
スイングイベントで訪れた国は、台湾、韓国、中国（北京、上海、深セン、香港）
タイ、マレーシア、シンンガポール、イギリス、フランス、スペイン、モザンビーク、南アフリカ。
Mariko と共に世界中のスイングイベントに参加し、得た情報を日本のスイングシーンにフィードバックするべく精力的に活動中。
Through Mariko, he started swing dance, and has been working in partnership with her since 2014.
He has already won awards at foreign competitions when he was beginner and with his natural rhythm and dance sense, he stands out in the swing scene.
His sunny smile and fun musicality has always been entertaining to the followers.

アーティスト
ミッドセンチュリー・ティキカルチャーのスタイルを最も得意とし、アメリカをはじめ、
世界各国のサブカルチャーで活動する日本人アーティスト。
現在は世界各国でアートショーに参加している。
2010年にはマイアミで開催されたポリネシアンアートコンペティションにて
グランプリを受賞したのを期にティキアーティストとしての地位を確立した。
2014年アメリカにて、ティキカルチャーに最も貢献したアーティストとして表彰されるなど、今最も注目を集めている。
Mookie is an Illustrator and graphic designer in Kyoto Japan.
He loves classic cartoons and toys, and the music of the 20’s through the 60’s.
He has a great passion and love for polynesian-pop,
Tiki culture, and Mid-century art – and his work is strongly inspired by them.
